1 Meter Prodder

Dont just use a peice of alloy tube!!! This is light weight, can be made stronger than alloy, is scalable and looks bloody good to!

This is a 1M prodder with a 66mm diameter. The first two sections of the Prodder is a perfect cylinder, for the prodder tube and the second 500mm tapers down to 48mm. This prodder is designed for a 70mm prodder tube, which is it final diameter after fiberglass is applied. It comes with a 1M X 32mm alloy tube which inserted down the centre of the prodder. This alloy tube is then glued and filled with epoxy resin. Fibreglass or carbon fibre is then applied to the outside of the prodder to give it its final stength. This is a very sturdy pole and was tested on a 24ft trimaram with an 18sqm screecher in all conditions.
